wanted to know when to replace the timing belt on a 00 xterra, I am sure it is due unless you switch it way early then I am sure it is due again, I just got the vehicle and dont want it crapping out on me, it has 127k on it. what can I expect to pay to have it done? I hear it is somewhat simple and I hear it is hard as hell.
Your imput is appreciated.

welcome! glad to have you.
yea, the timing belt and water pump are scheduled for ~105k so youre way past.

i just had mine done for ~800.

prepare to get rocked.

if youre handy w/ cars, you can do it yourself without a ton of trouble, but my rents decided they'd pay for mine, so i figured what the heck, why not.
