GeorgiaX 04-11-2010, 07:15 PM Hello everyone, my name is drake and i live marietta georgia. I turned 16 a few months ago and purchased a 2004 4wd nissan xterra XE. I just wanted to follow in my dad's footsteps as he wheels a 2006 Off road xterra. Soon after i got a job and starting modding my xterra. so far i have a calmini winch bumper, sliders, and pml. Im running a smittybilt xrc winch behind the front bumper. I also did a custom hi lift mount on my stock roof rack. I'm always looking for someone to go wheelin with so if you live somewhere around georgia let me know!
heres a pic of me in my x on my first wheelin trip (i was turned around listening to my spotter and laughing cause he was making fun of me)

Snow Chaser 04-11-2010, 07:36 PM Hey, welcome to the club!
Got any pics of your hi-lift mount?
GeorgiaX 04-11-2010, 07:46 PM I have some but not any that are close up, i will post some tomorrow though. As for how i mounted it look here: http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6327
the only problem i ran into was that i have a 60" hi lift jack and it sticks out way into the front of the roof basket. not a big deal to me but it could be to someone else.

Drake 04-12-2010, 06:57 AM Hello everyone, my name is drake
I was here first!!! ;)
Welcome to CX!
You should definitely come to the meet at Coal Creek in May. Both you and your dad. It is a really good time at one very awesome park (72,000 acres and 160+ miles of trails). You'll see some nissans ranging from mild to wild. Here's the info thread:

GeorgiaX 04-12-2010, 02:24 PM We actually just moved from marietta into paulding county, and im a junior at hiram high school. I go wheelin a lot around here in the paulding national forest. Me and you will have to get together and go on a trip!
tameroflions 04-12-2010, 02:26 PM man, where in marietta were you?
are there legit legal trails or is it like old logging trails or something?
GeorgiaX 04-12-2010, 02:50 PM Not sure if you know the neighborhood but i lived in Barrington Hills. They are legal legit trails. Alot of washout and at the end of the trail there is a huge old train tunnel you drive through. Its pretty neat. next time i go out there ill snap some pics of the trail for you. It's worth a trip to do it once. Where do you go wheelin? It would be awesome to find some more trails around here.
tameroflions 04-12-2010, 03:46 PM man, theres nothing here. nothing i know of atleast.
i'd definitely drive over to hit up some trails w/ you.
are you on fbook? join the group and post pics of the trail and ad me. im the creator of the group.
