Is it possible to put a 05 or newer radio in a 01 SE X? Would steering controls still work? Is it at all possible?

i dont know if it would work i guess if i saw what the rear of the radio looked i have a 00 factory sitting in my closet if you want me to take pics of it so you can compair the two.....

that's what i don't want to get an aftermarket head just yet, cause i really like the steering controls

i didnt have them so it dosent bother me.....

The 00 through 06 radio plugs are the same on all Nissans. Actually I believe All the Nissan and Infiniti radio plugs are the same from 95 through present.

I am absolutely sure on the 00-06 because I had an 00 Frontier, and the aftermarket radio (with mating harness) dropped right into my 05 Xterra.
