Here is the progression of my X over the past almost 7 years. I thought I was going to sell it back in the Fall so I stripped some things off of it. Going back now and trying to set it back up again to a certain extent. I don't have near as much time or money to offroad as I did in the past.

Current setup as of March 2010
62,000+ miles on the X.

- 32x11.50x15 BFG AT KO's
- 15" Desert Runner Wheels
- Shrockworks Front Bumper
- Shrockworks Sliders
- PML
- Calmini Shackles.
- Calmini IAB
- HD Torsion Bars
- HD TRA
- Bilstein Rear Shocks
- Flowmaster Muffler
- Sony Stereo
- Xterra Rubber Floor Mats
- Weathertech Hood Deflector
- Nissan Rear Wind Deflector
- AVS Ventvisor

Currently working on:
- Painting the trim

Wish List:
- Front Bilstein shocks
- Wet Okole Front Seat Covers
- New Lights for the Shrockworks Bumper

Started out completely stock, and went through these phases:
31x10.50x15 BFG AT's on Black Rock Crawler Rims

Same BFG AT's on Pathfinder Rims

Stock Xterra Rims with 32" Dunlop Mud Rovers

Painted the Rock Crawler Rims grey and got some used 32" Goodyear MTR's

MTR's on Stock Xterra Rims. The Rock Crawler Rims stock out too far with the MTR's.

Painted the rims dark grey and went to Moab. Sadly one of the MTR's got thrown out of balance and got torn up on the long drive back to Texas.

Thanks!

hah, yeah, I know. I kept finding good deals on cheap wheels and thought, what the heck! I finally got the DR wheels by a fluke coincidence. I've always loved the way they looked and they will be the last wheels I buy for it. If anyone in the East Texas-ish area wants a deal on some wheels I still have most of the one pictured above. :icon_wink:

To be honest there's actually an "8th" set that I couldn't find a picture of. hah. yeah... It's a little disturbing.

Alright, thanks Brian. That may be what I end up doing, at least for the time being. I had read about tightening them back to factory specs on a few threads.

just dont overtighten them to where the nut to where it digs into the bushings

Wow, that's a whole lot of tire swapping!
Great looking X, though.
I like the Black Rocks painted the best, I think.

The question is, does each set of rims have it's own dedicated set of tires. :D

Got the rear Bilsteins installed this morning! The install was fairly easy. I just took the spare out.

Apparently I bent one of the washers on one of the bottom mounts. That was a little bit of a pain to get of but not bad. Compare the old crappy used ones I bought probably 6 years ago to the new!

Of course there is no comparison!

I pushed in on the old shocks and they wouldn't even push back out!

I can definitely tell a difference in the ride. How could I not?? I hope to get the front shocks replaced sometime soon.
