Broden is helping me to put on my shocks, Idler arm Brace and my PML this Saturday.

So far it's just me and him confirmed. Anyone feel up to swinging by to help out? It will be at Broden's apartment complex in Limerick , PA and we plan to start at 10AM.

An extra hand or two could always help :) Plus it would be cool to meet local folks.

IM me if ya think you can make it :)

Yes I know I am competing with a rained out/date changed NNJ mod day. Sadly we set this date up in advance too and really is the only date that Broden and I could swing it.

I'm hoping we might get some South Jersey stragglers or even folks from PA, DE or even MD who want to swing by. The more people the faster it will go.

I'm sure we'll "git 'er dun" , but one or two other guys with experience like Broden --who have actually done the stuff, is always welcome.

I can spin a wrench and work hard--but my only experience in actually doing this work has been paying the cashier at the mechanic's shop.

:) Thanks in advance

Mod day went great. It took a little longer then I had thought it would, due to not being in a rush, shocks being a bitch to put on, and lee being so anal. (lol jk) I must say he's good a good truck no rust on it at all. Which made everything alot easier. I will post pics up in 10 mins.

No he's right, I'm anal :) just ask him how I self destructed when we had to face the shackle bolts the opposite way from OEM because my stupid exhaust was in the way :)

We had to do some stuff old school too. I was hesitant to use anti-seize on the shock spacers as a tip we read here at CX because it is a petroleum based product (ie not good for rubber) We didnt have any bars of soap (also good for getting in troublesome screws) so we used an old trick called "spit and shove" yep saliva will work as a lubricant for rubber and no I'm not telling you how I know this!

I also think one issue we had was the passenger side front shock mounting tab was bent in a bit from the D-bag mechanic that put in some new shocks there at inspection time--so that was a toughy--driver's side was pretty easy.

I'm real pleased!. I just need to align it and am good for my next trip to KOP Mall :D

Thanks again Broden!

Lookin good. Shouldn't have a problem with those speed bumps now. i know how tricky those bumps can get and with the extra ride height now you will deffinately have no body damage. Looks like you had a very productive day.
