baprideguy09 05-04-2007, 10:53 PM I just got a 2001 Xterra as my first car. LOVE IT!!! The only problem is that when i turn on the AC the compresser kicks on, but their is no cold air, there is a continous hissing noise from the vents. And on of the AC hoses by the radator that is rubber has green "algee" looking stuff on it. Could that be a leak? Thanks killbill 07-02-2007, 06:53 PM Wife had a similar problem with her 02. they sell a dye you can run through your ac and check for leaks. Aome times your fan clutch goes bad and over pressurizes the system and blows the lines. baprideguy09 07-02-2007, 08:06 PM Found out what the problem is... A leaky hose so at Wal-Mart they have 20 $ AC Chargers. They work really well. | ||
