You wont need 4wd, Im out there all the time with no problem! Plus I have tow straps .... lol. just in case. But its normally pretty hard packed sand.

As Chad noted, you won't need 4wd unless you try to dig yourself into the sand. My X is 4x4 so I can help yank people out if necessary.

I'll see if my friend who did my 2* timing advance will make the trip out in his nice titan and do that for ya.

AND.... I may not make this after all. truck started with the dreaded timing chain tensioner whine about 3 weeks ago. a fellow CF'er in vero is going to do the work for me, but unless something changes, we are set to git 'er dun next weekend

No prob! A plasma cutter would be the best, dont know of anyone that has one. I got a shop out this way that could do it. How bad it the rub?

A cutting wheel, and some primer, and some touch up paint should do the trick. I was going to say some fender flares to cover the cut part but then again it might hit the wheel to. Might have to test fit them to see if they cover.

glass fenders would be nice, but i havent seen any that i like for frontiers. im going to stay away from flares. i was planning to get more lift via bilstien 5100 lift shocks(2inch). but i would still have to cut with those, so why spend 200 bucks and still have to cut.

going either tomorrow or tuesday to cut it using our schools autobody shop.

plasma cutter wouldnt be ideal, cause the heat would F*** the paint around it i think.

i know, im pissed - everything's blowing up on my truck right now. fsu just went out, timing chain... its like i hit 79k miles and it just quit on me.

the guy who's doing the work is mark from CF (S14-NEO). the 240 he built is insane from what ive seen, so i trust him with a stock vq40...

on another note, i fixed the rubbing. using a die grinder i cut diagnally and then melted the plastic back. no rubbing at all!

For sure! We were talking at lunch about trying to do the BBQ again now that we have some better weather for next month sometime. Tim will get back to us on possibly getting a pavillion, even if I got to put alittle cash into reserving it, it not a big deal.
