My wife and I have off from April 2 though April 5th, and we'd like to do some light backpacking. I am very experienced, however she is not so nothing hardcore mileage wise. I just moved here a few months ago and she's never been interested before so I don't know where to go.
Can you give any advice? I'd like to walk in an hour or two on the 2nd, walk a couple hours a day on the 3rd and 4th, and then an hour or two on the 5th. Like 15-22 miles total.
Thanks in advance :)
Have you already done sections of the Appalachian Trail?

X2 on the AT
Look into the southwestern corner of NC for the areas around the Ocoee, Nantahala and Hiwassee rivers. You can jump onto sections of the AT and do some beautiful hikes. On the Nantahala near Murphy, NC there is a NOC (Nantahala Outdoor Center) that acts sort of like a hub/intersection for the AT. You can get plenty of information there as well as get onto the AT literally within 100 yards of the NOC building and it will follow the Nantahala River before turning in to the mountains. One of my favorite areas to hike and kayak.

Thanks guys I will have to check that out. I have hiked the AT trough PA but not at all down here.
Still taking ideas. Anyone have a good little loop hike in mind? I'm really not trying to drive 2 cars 6 hours for two people.

You might look into Uwharrie National Forest near Troy, NC. I haven't been there myself but what I've read really looks appealing.
