Unfortunately this car is not sold in the US! but it's sold here in Kuwait :) ha ha
It came with a 5.6 V8 engine and it makes 400 HP!!!! I wonder how it will sound with a Corsa exhaust.
I believe this video was taken in Dubai desert, or somewhere else in the UAE.

Nissan slaughtered the Patrol. Used to be the only nissan that came with front and rear solid axles and now its independent suspension all around. This was the legend vehicle specifically built to compete with Jeep. Now its just a pavement princess. :(

When you see it digging the dunes with 400 horses, who cares if it's a solid axles or independent sus?

Half the guys on here are old luddites. They cry ever time a manufacturer pulls the plug on a moldy old antiquated design.
That said solid axle has it's place and not everyone wants to have to do a major converson to get it.

Independent is weaker, more stuff to break since there are more weak links. Its also now a Unibody design (great for a nice ride on pavement, terrible for anyone thinking of serious offroading ask anyone with a unibody jeep about body cracks around the suspension points, rocker guards and bumpers). Jumping or highspeed unibody vehicles in the Dunes or Baja get trashed, unibodies just cant take that abuse and there is no easy way to beef em up.
That shouldnt have a Patrol name its a miniature Armada bling bling machine. I would take any previous year patrol over that thing.

Nope... still Box frame. :) It wouldnt bother me if they did it to any other vehicle but doing that to the Patrol just irks me. :)
