Hi everyone, just got here even though I've owned an X for 3 years...I have a 2001 non supercharged, K&N Cold air, throttle body spacer, Sirius sat, Sony sound equip.
Bought the truck out of necessity due to a divorce and she took the other truck....needed a reliable powerful vehicle to tow my boat and drive to work when the snow gets too deep....
I do all my own work, I was a mechanic for over 20 years before departing the trade to become a forensic expert....
When the AC quit on it I made my own vacuum pump out of a refrigerator compressor and got evac lines from a do it yourself kit...
Got some maintenance to do this year, all fluids to be changed out to Amsoil or Lucas products, timing belt with a water pump replacement, and some body touch up where some rust pits are developing....

Welcome A Board!

:D

You sound very resourceful!

You should remove that throttle body spacer when you get a chance, as its physically impossible for it to improve anything on a sequential multiport fuel injected engine.
