Hey, I'm looking to put some rims onto my X. I saw ones that I had liked but I dont think they fit my vehicle. I do believe Ive seen similar ones on other peoples xterra's. Right now Im on the stock rims. I think they are 16x7. So can anyone help me find rims like these (http://www.performanceplustire.com/products/wheels/searchType/searchByWheelFinish/finish/TEFLON/manufacturerID/193/productID_/5607#prodAnchor)that will fit my 02 nissan xterra? I was hoping to keep the tires I have and just switch the rims. Any other suggestions on black rims that are the same size... Im not looking for anything shiny or chrome. Pretty much black. ha thanks.

Cragar Soft 8 or Black Widows would fit the X and they are around $40 to $60 a wheel.
Do a google search. The 1st Gen Xterra is 6x5.5 with a 5.5 inch back spacing.

look in to black rock wheels they have some pretty nice choices and take a look at the XD enduro rims, they come in all sizes and the 16x8 are 4.5" b.s. some of the black rock wheels are 4.75 b.s they have a good amount to choose from MB motorsports makes a rim like your mentioned also. i know this cuz i'm gettin wheels myself and these are the choices i'm looking at. most likely the xd or the black rock lobo's are what im going for
hope this helps

What are the black widows? can you send me a link to someplace. And the Cragar Soft 8 looks pretty good.

--- Do I need some type of adapter for the Cragar Soft 8 to fit my Xterra? Im not sure if they will just bolt right on.

Not sure about the black widows (think maybe they might be D Windows)

Soft 8's link here: http://www.cragarwheel.com/wheels/?id=44&first=2&fid=all

But check out http://www.blackrockwheels.com
They have a pretty good selection (including the Lobo's, which I have ordered as we speak) along with the soft 8's and D windows. Black rock apparently was purchased by Cragar, so their specs should be the same.

You should not have to have spacers or adapters to fit soft 8's or any of the other steelies on your X. Call them to be sure, but with your 6x5.5 bolt patter and 5.5" backspacing, you should be able to get away with up to 4.5" BS without any issues (someone more knowledgable than me can chime in anytime).
Good luck!

BTW, I think the wheels you linked to fit the X's bolt pattern, but may be in a 3.75 to 4" BS range, which means you'll have to do some lifting and trimming to accommodate them (if you haven't already) cause they will stick out so much.

Im not really sure what all of that means. So I could get a 16x8 rim.. I know that. Your telling me I have a 6x6.5 bolt pattern, So I need to make sure It has that too. And can some please tell me what the back spacing is/means?

---- This is what I see on Cragars site (http://www.cragarwheel.com/wheels/?id=44&first=2&fid=all)

Rim Size -16x8 Bolt Pattern - 6x5.5 Offsetmm - 13 Rear spac. - 5

... Im thinkin thats the one i need.

Im sorry but I dont really know anything about rims. My best bet would be to go to a dealer for rims, but I cannot find the cragar 8's anywhere near me so im just trying to make sure they are the correct ones before purchasing them off line.
