Hey guys. I'm new to the forums however I'm not new to forums in general. I use to have a 01 Lexus IS300 but recently got a new 2010 Xterra S. I got a Garmin for my Xterra and have mounted it on the drivers side near the air vent. what I want to know is:

*Is there any way I can wire the Garmin so that no wires will be shown- ie through the dash and such? If so, how do I take the dash appart?

Here is a rough drawing of where my garmin is located and where I'd like for the wires to run.

Also, I do not want to get a stock garmin holder. I know this will most likely come up but I just want to say its not an option.

that pillar panel just snaps off and will able to hide your wiring under neath for clean install.

So, I just pull the pillar towards me and it will pop off? Also, are there any air bags in the pillars of the 2010 Xterra's? I don't want them going off if so.

i dont think there is any in that location all air bag wires are yellow.

I would take a look at your manual to see if there are any. But most parts hiding an airbag state it on the outside so you can see where they are.
