I think it would be cheaper and faster to trade in the '04 for an '05.

i just don't really care much for the newer body styles. so if it's possible...

would it bolt up????? are the mounts diffrent???? what about the ecu????? tranny????? would be the ?'s i would be asking......

I think every thing is different...the frame rails are different, so the mounts can't line up, as they went to coils after the T-Bars, etc...so the engine bay was rearranged, etc....our hood heights would probably be too short, the ECU's would not know what to do, the cooling system would be inadequate, the drivetrain might not be able to handle the extra 100 hp, and a bunch of other inconveniences.

Probably as easy as throwing in a 350 short block crate motor, and fabbing everything from scratch.

Seriously, I've been involved with this sort of thing....the time and effort involved would make it cheaper to trade in the '04, and take a loss on the payments, and get an '05....than to undertake this.

IE: Its doable, but not cheaply or easily.
