Which model Xterra is the best of all? the 99-01, the 02-04, or the 05-07 model? Personally, i think the 02-04 models are THE BEST, because they are the most capable off road. I have an 03 Xterra supercharged and that thing is B.A. off road. a friend of mine has the 06 model, and i beat it up a 35 degree slope, and we are both stock!

well for one there is no 99 xterra only 00 up..... and from ther it is a matter of trim and options.... the OR has a locking diff where the others dont....and so on....

Umm...what are you basing your "most capable offroad" on?

I can give you many reasons why an 05-07 OffRoad model is better than any 00-04 model off road.

1. Rear locker
2. Front coilover shocks
3. Almost 100 more HP (and can run on regular fuel)
4. Ability to fit 33" tires without trimming or lift
5. did I mention the rear locker?

I like the 02-04's personally, but the 05-07's are definitely the better setup.
