Bought a lightning silver 2010 Xterra SE 4X4 just after Christmas. Absolutely love it. The sound system rocks and this weather we're having can't touch it. Wanted something to be able to go up into the mountains with on my summer trips to Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, (thinking bout Canada this summer) as well as my trips kayaking in Missouri. Needed a vehicle I could sleep in the back of so I could eliminate the tent. Perfect. Was always hoppin a ride to Missouri (go with a large group) and now everyone wants to ride with me.
Was debating between this and a 2009 Rav4 a local dealership had (mainly because of the increased mpg) and I am so glad it worked out like this, even if Toyota wasn't currently self-destructing.
I really wanted an OR version, but since most of my daily driving is through cornfields I think in retrospect it's for the best I got the SE. The SE rides so much smoother than I thought it would from reading the reviews. Not sure the OR would.
