: Performance monitors for Nissan Xterra?

Hi all,

Come this Friday I'm the proud owner of an 01 Xterra SE. The previous owner pampered it and only put 53,000 KM on it, leaving it in mint condition.

I figure before I start kitting it out with performance parts and bolt-ons that I'd like to monitor the baseline performance and watch the progress. I can't seem to find a performance monitor on-line that'll work with older Nissans though. The Quadzilla looks like what I want, and there are many other brands out there, but nothing seems to work with an 01 Xterra.

Anyone have experience with these things or know of a brand that works with an 01?

Many more questions to come I'm sure.

Cheers.

I have never heard of that... it looks pretty cool. I dont know of any products similar to that which can fit on an X. Plus that seems like it would be more for turbo boosts on diesel engines and such...

A product that gives you normal perameters like mph, mpg, miles till empty, voltage, trouble shoot codes... etc. is the scan gauge http://www.scangauge.com/ I have the scan gauge II in my 06 X... and the directions said that it would fit almost all models from '96 and up. Probably not what you are looking for but you can check it out.

No...wait, there's a computer program you can load into your lap top (Or whatever...) that reads ALL the engin parameters on the fly.....can't remember the name of course...

Anthony...Dagger's got this I believe...what's it called?

I'll give Dagger a shout and ask him, I don't recall the name of the software.
