Hi All,
After owning a '94 Pathfinder since 1995 (and still do for now), I decided to go the Xterra route. As of this past friday (January 29th) I am the proud owner of a 2002 Solar Yellow Supercharged SE with 91,000 miles on it. It's in absolutely beautiful condition, especially considering south eastern Wisconsin winters and salt.
As of right now, except for the slightly larger BF Goodrich A/T 265/70 tires, a Python security system with remote start, and the Rage Powersports roof basket I just ordered (thanks to researching this forum), it's all original equipment. It also has the brush guard (I've read the controversies here) and tow package installs.
I'm not a hard-core off roader but I do hit the logging trails when I go "up north" fishing, hunting, or camping. The extra ground clearance on my X compared to my Pathfinder will really be nice.
So far this site has been a wealth of information. I found the factory service manual pdf's in a post and this has already helped on a couple minor things I needed to do (like change a fog light bulb). I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as I will undoubtedly have issues popping up here and there. I'll get pics up as soon as I get a chance.
Cheers,
Dave
Edit: here are a couple of pics :) ...
