Hey all,
Wanted to get some input on how to get the best wash when living in an apartment complex. I have used the pressure washer bays with my own bucket a few times and have done the drive-thru's, but there is nothing like doing it yourself. Any suggestions that have worked for you in the past? Thank for any input.

Well..im in the same situation, and I have tried everything. Bay pressure wash and foam brush are best, just make sure to wash the brush out before using it, you never know what's in there lol. Touchless leaves it dirty still, and those spinning brush ones just scare me...

Try some Optimum-No-Rinse (ONR) its a rinseless wash, you mix it in a bucket with water and then wipe down the car with it.
Its great as long as the car is not covered in mud in which case you can take it to the spray down bay and then do the ONR.
It provides lubrication when wiping so it does not mar your finish. I would recommend using GOOD QUALITY microfibers to do this. I used to detail cars ( and still do occasionally) and this is good stuff!!

If you dont want to buy online, Meguiars sells some decent Microfibers, but make sure you get the Supreme Shine (golden in color) ones. Good luck and let me know if you need any more info!!

since i am cheap as hell and dont want to pay for little here and there cleanings i went to sears and got a thread adapter for the shower nozzle and i run a hose right out the window, looks haggard as anything but it was cheap and i can take my time washing my x. the adapter was 3 bucks and i had a normal garden hose from my house before the apartment. thats just my way of doin it.

At my complex there is a valve right next to my front door. Our leasing managers didn't allow us to use it though. Which is why my car usually got washed Sunday mornings when the office was closed. :)
