I haver a 01 Xterra. I had a problem this weekend where my driver side wiper just stopped working. The passenger side works fine. I think it is stripped. How do I get the wiper arm off?

They are made to strip out if they get restricted by ice and snow or sometimes the nut just gets loose. Either way just lift the plastic cover remove the nut, pull the arm off, clean the grooves on the shaft, put the arm back on, tighten it back down and it will be fine. No need to buy a new arm.
