Xport, I noticed the BFGs came on your X, mine seem to grab cracks in the road and want to turn downhill when braking, ever notice that; anybody else got rugged trails?

nope, no complaints about the Rugged Trails so far. i will prob. be swapping for bigger, more aggressive BFG A/T in the near future though. I had AT's on my Cherokee and still have AT's on my Wrangler and have never had any issues with them either. in fact they are the most dependable and longest wearing tires I have ever had.

Hmmmmm, think I'm still going to replace them with a more hwy friendly tire, prob a 265 70 long trail I've put the knobbiest tires I can find on different vehicles, and I notice after this clay we have here fills up the tread, they all look like slicks

check out the AT's, they're agressive but the gaps between the threads aren't large enough to get caked up. no problem with clay up here, but sticky clumpy snow has the same affect on knobby tires in ME.

I had these before I put my superswamper TSL radials on. I was completely happy with them. And they wear like iron!!

Ive got 275 65 r16 BFG A/T KO on my 01 X. No lift. I noticed a huge differance in handling on the road from the passenger tires I had on there already. There not to loud and they are the most aggressive looking a/t tire on the market. I got the for 300 out of a trader post. Barly had any tread loss. I havnt been able to try them off road. Right now Im stationed at virginia beach va. Transfering to tinker afb in ok city next week. Looks like theres alot of places to get muddy over there. Any one notice a loss in mpg from going to 32"s. Im getting 14 mpg right now.
