When you are buying the bumper and the sliders it asks if you have a body lift for the sliders. Does that mean suspension lift? Also does that mean you have to put a suspension lift kit on first?

Second/4th question- For the bumper it asks for a 2 inch lift. Does that mean it wont fit if you have done a 3 inch Calmini suspension lift?

A Body lift persists of one lifting the Body of the truck off the frame....a suspension lift just raises the suspension so truck sits slightly higher...


if u didnt buy a body lift kit, u say NO to 2inch Body lift for bumper and sliders....it will work with ur 3'' calmini lift...

yes u can buy both a bumper and pair of sliders later if ur going with a suspension lift. if your gonna buy them now and then want a BODY LIFT....you will have a gap the size of paris hilton's between your bumper to body because the bumper is mounted to the frame. the sliders just wont fit... u get it?

What exactly does a body kift do more clearence? All i really want to do is get the bumper and sliders now and do a suspension kit later. Would you recomend a body lift? I mean i am going to be doing some serious offroading.

a body lift just raises the body off of the frame so you can have bigger tires..... the SL will increase your wheel travel giving you better flex..... and if you havent bought a calmini lift DONT!!!!!!! go with another company..... just do some searching and you will find out why...... if you plan on putting a BL then i would wait for the sliders and bumper.... if you are going to do a SL then you can order the sliders and bumper..... if you install the bumper and sliders now you will have this problem...

ok thanks for the info. And no i haven't bought the calmini lift. I was looking at SLR but dont know which one to get. The site is really confusing.
