the PCV "Positive Crankcase Ventilation" (not PVC) valve, is located to the right hand side of the last letter "N" of the word "NISSAN" on your intake plenum.

In other words:
1. Look at the top of your engine.
2. Put your finger on this letter - "nissaN"
3. Slide your finger down to right (toward driver side)
4. There is a hose there, containing the PCV valve

Does this apply to Ka Engines also or Vg engines only?

I could not find that thread with search. But this is still a VG engine, I have KA engine and i still have no idea where my PCV valve is.

it's located on the right side of the throttle body; above and almost at the rear of the alternator. Just like the VG, it has a clamp holding it on and a hose attached to the nipple part. Your's is a lot more difficult to access though.

The part number I found was B2040-61968 but when you go to AZ or wherever you can just ask them to look it up.

Im getting a mixed signal here. somone told me the PCV is located in the filter box where the doughnut shaped filter sits in.
And i didnt know KA engines had a knock sensor.

I don't know who you are talking to but they should probably learn a little more about the engine. The entire point of having a pcv valve is to assist with the continual evacuation of gases from inside a gasoline internal combustion engine's crankcase. There is no point of having a filter like that on an airbox if no combustion has occured. As far as a knock sensor there are pages among pages of information about it on google. Simply type in KA24DE knock sensor and you will see what i'm talking about. Your X would run horribly if it did not have a knock sensor and you would probably get less than 10mpg and become very sluggish.

Good Stuff. Thanks Redrover. I had to order the PCV valve from the AdvancedAutos. What they thought was a PCV valve turned out to be a breather. So now i cannot trust the guys over there officially.

Now that picture is going to come in handy :-)
