A bunch of us from the Titan Forums are planning a trip out to Calico this weekend if any of you would like to join us!

We will be planning monthly trips to multiple places throughout southern cali as well!

We will be meeting at Fontana Nissan at 8am (I am providing the coffee and donuts!!) and then heading from there!

Hopefully you're not referring to the ghost town turned tourist attraction, right? What times the meet up? I won't be going because my wife is due 1/20, so being that far away from home isn't going to happen, but I'm sure some of the other guys will be into it.

That's the place...but apparently there's lots of fun places to drive in the area!

As of now, we are meeting at our dealership (Fontana Nissan) at 11am...but I'm trying to get them to meet earlier since its going to take us a little drive just to get there!

I've done a little wheeing around there (after eating an over priced ice cream cone at the "ghost town" of course).

Doran Loop, Mule Canyon Rd., Odessa Canyon and Phillips Loop are all fun and short enough to do in a day. There's a lot of cool old abandoned mines in the area...

Does this mean you're comin?

I really wish I could, Scott, because I'd love to actually meet some more dirt lovers in the area face to face. But my wife is due to have our first child on January 20, so being 150 miles from home that close to her due date is a bad idea.

You sir...get a free pass! ;) Take care of the wifey and the little one!

We will be doing monthly trips...so when you're ready to get back out there...we'd love to have you show us around some of the trails out this way!

I just saw this post... I know, not a very active member. I'd love to get out and meet with a group, always safer than what I've been doing. My only hesitation are the three little passengers I have this weekend. They are pretty good when we go local, but an all day dragging might be tough. If the roads are passable in a stock 4x4 with BFG AT then I'll seriously consider this one. If not, and you are planning monthly trips.. I'll hit the next one.

Well I'm driving a lifted 2wd...I think you'd still get around better in your stock 4wd. C'mon out! It should be a good time!

I'm out.. I have to keep the kids local due to my ex's parent's being in town and something about keeping things civil for the rest of my life!

Sure wish some of you came out! We had a great time exploring Calico!!! Every month we are going to explore a new place! Probably bring a BBQ and some other stuff as well!
