I found this CB radio in my grandmas garage. 3 Questions

1) is it a decent CB radio? (radioshack)

2) is there an easy way to run the wire from the roof in tho the cab?

3) an easy way for a direct wiring?

How long is the wire? I ran mine under the seat under the back seat and out the hatch!

can't really tell what kind it is from the pic. Its a magnet mount so thats easy. You can just run the wire under the trim inside your X if its fits in there. looks kinda big. Run the power and ground straight to the battery and you'll be fine. Just don't forget to turn it off though. This is how i ran mine.

the antenna is more important than the radio itself. Since nothing has really changed in CB tech you should be in pretty good shape.

How big is it? I could not realy tell fome the pic.

The antenna wire can be run from the roof, Down the channel by the rear hatch, in between the taillight and the body, and through the taillight wireing gromet, than from behind the rear plastic pannel under the carpet to where ever you want it to go. There was a wright up on it on one of the Xterra forums. Don't know if it's on this one though.
