I have a basic 2006 Xterra X that is as BASIC as it can get. When I bought the car I was told that I could install the bumper foglights later if I wanted to. I have recently called several dealerships asking for the price of the foglight assemblies so that I can install them myself. I was told that is impossible to do without installing a new wiring harness. Now this is the same thing they told me when I asked about installing an OEM trailer hitch with OEM electrical 7 pin, but I found the plug under the left rear and installed myself. Well back to the foglight, upon further inspection of the bumper I found a yellow plug right above both openings in the bumper that looks like something can plug into it. For those of you familiar with the wiring of the Xterra, is this the plug that the foglights plug into, to turn them on when the headlights are turned on? Any input would be greatly appreciated and I would sure love to prove them wrong again
