:smart: DITTO THAT!!! :rrg: Brushguards cause a LOT of damage to your truck, if in an accident. Not strong at all.


This is the bumper I'm putting on.... :thumbup: I love this thing!!! The expense is worth it, compared to the damage and $$$ for repair if using something lesss strong.

Well, I don't plan on hitting anything. It's mostly for aesthetic purposes, but eventually....

I don't think anyone plans to hit something. But with a brush guard on there, you're just asking for damage.

It is. It's the unfinished one. I think it looks kinda MAD MAX....but I'll probably have it painted black when I order mine. It's on the Shrockworks site.

i guess i didnt reongnize it. that would be good to get unpainted and befor you install RHINO IT!!!!! i think that is what i might do when i get the $$$$ to buy...

That's an awesome idea. I was thinking of rhinolining the cargo area in the back. The plastic is all scratched.

I have the same brushguard on mine i love it. If you like it keep it.

im not telling you waht to do but just hope and pray that you dont encounter a frontend squable with another car. then you will regret it but i dose look good, dont get me wrong but i refuse to put one on. i will be ordering shrock soon i hope.......

If you like it, and you understand the risks involved, AND you never plan to go offroad, then I guess maybe a brush gaurd is ok...

But if someone said to me they wanted to walk around everywhere in skiis, and they knew they might fall and get hurt, and they would not be able to make it up the stairs, but damn they liked the look, then sure I might say go for that too. ;)

I just spoke with one of the hobby welders from the shop down the street and he can cut the top half of the brush guard off and mount it on a shrock bumper. I like the bumper, just not the stock guard on it. If it works out like I think it will, I can combine the durability of the bumper to reinforce the the top half of the brushguard! Comments??
