The long wait is, apparently, over. Ordered a '10 OR (knight armor) in early October. Had to wait for one to be built since I wanted the manual transmission. Ordered the Shrockworks rock sliders back then too. They should be showing up later this month or early January.

Main motivation for the X was the fact that it can tow (want something to drag my motorcycles out of the winter so I can go riding), the manual transmission option (it's all I've ever owned and there aren't many options out there when a manual transmission is desired), and it's off-road creds. Not sure if I'll take to going off the beaten track but without a vehicle capable of it, I'll never know. It'll certainly help with the 15cm of snow we're getting as I type.

I've been lurking around here for several weeks and there is a wealth of knowledge here.

... and now I wait some more.

I've often wondered why some call it "night" and others "knight". On the nissan.ca website, it's "knight armour", on the nissanusa.com site, it's "night armor". Seems the company itself confuses the issue. I understand the localization of armor/armour. Odd.
