has anybody installed installed rear view mirror with compass? how complicated is the wiring?

i installed one on my '04 and there was no problem at all. the biggest obsticle was routing the wires through the firewall but even that was no big deal. Just take your time and read each step twice before you do it and you will have no prob! :)

Thanks for this info. Looking to purchase a new 07, compass mirror is a factory option (around $200 I believe), but how stupid, no outside temp which is something I rely alot on here where the temperature ranges so much.

I am thinking about doing the same thing on my 07. Any ideas if it is already wired for it?
