For x-mas im looking to get a set of wheel spacers.

Is there any wheel spacer that is better than another?
Is there any BS that is better to get? :hmm:

I'm looking at these https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_thumb.php?img=images/wheels__tires/wheel_spacers/51b35c919a859efd974d5095d148ec28.jpg&w=200&h=200

I'm also running stock everything, but might be looking into new tires soon.
(I plan on keeping the stock rims)

Any help would be nice.

as long as you get spacers that bolt onto the factory lugs and then use thier own lugs you will be ok......just an fyi on my truck i never noticed that the front studs are longer then the rears i believe.....or vice versa......either way look into changing the shorter ones out to longer ones.....i had a problem with them not extending far enough into the spacer and the lug nut and stud both stripped......and you dont want a wheel falling off....i would loctite them on too just as precaution...its easy enough to get alot of leverage on them to break them free from loctite.....mine kept loosening after a while so i just got wheels.....its mostly little things to pay attention to that if i would have known the first time would have made life alot easier

Remember that the less backspacing you have the more the tires stick out, so they might not clear the fenders.

If you are running stock tires you should be ok, but be prepared to lift the truck to fit anything bigger.

To give you an idea= I put on some 32x12.5 on a 3.75" bs rim and they did not clear the fenders even with the PML on my truck.

I've seen 1" spacers for 6x5.5 lug patterns on ebay for $120 shipped.

Remember that you need to torque the lug nuts on the spacers to spec and put loctite on them so that they don't fail while driving.

I would check them after every time I wheel or about twice beween oil changes.

Good luck,

I've got a set exactly like the ones you're looking at and looking to part with them in the next few weeks. They are 1.5" spacers and I did have to do some trimming with stock tires. If you are interested let me know. I've only had them on for 3 months and I can definately beat the price you're looking at. I love 'em but I'm getting new wheels and will not require them anymore.

So the bolt spread pattern on a 2005 OR is 6X5.5, meaning there's 6 bolts and they are 5.5 inches apart?
