Nice, Jones has more snow then I thought.

I went searching too and found a little up Sunrise lake (west Harrison) last weekend.

Thanks...

Yea, I was pretty suprised with the snow at Jones, too. I haven't been up to Sunrise or anywhere that side of Harrison. Are the trails pretty easy higher up? My X is completely stock so I don't wanna get too crazy.

The trails on the west harrison are interesting. I am on 265/70/16 all seasons with a PML

let me know if the link works:

and this one

Everyone ask why I turned right at the 45sec. Had I continued stright I was likely going to bash my step rail and/or door pannel :)

with no spotter the X went up and down that fairly well.

That is a sweet vid.

My X is completely stock including Toyo H/T tires (for highway driving).

Jones has grated trails up to the lake (for Hydro access), beyond that i've never wandered to the higher trails, usually to go fishing. But looking at the back road mapbook, there is a bunch.

As a last note, I've been searching the site and the web for what PML is but I haven't figured it out. I assume it's a lift, rather than some Pakistan Malitia Advocate group.

You're right, it stands for Poor Man's Lift. Basically it's purchasing a set of $65.00 rear shackles to raise the backend up 1.5" then cranking your torsion bars to raise the front end to match.

The PML for the first gens (2000-2004) involves the shackles and the torsion bar crank. In the case of the person asking the question he has a 2005 and therefore doesnt have torsion bars. In this care you would need coil spacers for the front.
