Greetings,

Long time lurker, first time poster but I am planning on being more active on the site. Also just have to say that the site is great, I have learned a lot. So I am looking for recommendations for mechanics in the Portland area. Specifically I live in SW Portland so someone close would be perfect.

I have a 2005, SE and it is due for it's 30K service. To be honest I am not sure what all is involved in the 30K service but would rather find a local shop (support local business) then go to the dealer or even worse let Jiffy Lube cover those basics.

Any info, thoughts or recommendations would be great. Also if you have any idea what I should pay for the 30k service that would be helpful as well.

Thank you and I look forward to interacting more.

don't know any xterra specialist but i always had good luck with clarkes discount, they use just oem parts and have always done good for us. I think only certain branches do nissans but their site should tell you.
