Lotta nails in sofas; if you develop a leak you'll know where it came from, lol! :)

did you happen to clean up that mess?

Heavus
11-21-2009, 10:36 PM
no. theres so much garbage there. one time i went there and there was a car that was set on fire. i got there and it was smoldering. its basically 1/4 dirtbike track, 1/4 offroad spot, 1/2 junkyard

is it classified as a dump location??? if not you are just as wrong as the ones that dumped that couch there in the first place since you didn't clean up the mess that you made... which in turn gives the rest of us a bad name... this is the reason they are closing down many major offroad parks... i don't want to sound like a prick but we strongly discourage this type of behavior....

Heavus

its just a big undeveloped land where people dump all sorts of weird stuff. there was one of those newspaper vending boxes there. and the couch was already there, i didn't dump stuff

So clean it up anyway instead of making a bigger mess. Ever hear of Tread Lightly? Just because no one else cleans it up doesn't mean you shouldn't either.

If everyone else was blowing their heads off with Glocks would you do it too?

Granted, but smashing it and making it a bigger mess doesn't help anyone.

any other local wheelers you could organize a cleanup with?

json and i were gonna do a cleanup on bryan beach, but after json called the city to see about them provide trash bags and stuff, they came out and cleaned the beach themselves

Just curious, how do you guys expect him to haul off a couch in a xterra?

As long as I don't intend to close the hatch, I can fit a couch in my X. It might hang out the back a bit and end up smelling like exhaust, but that would just add to the ambiance of a mancave! Mmmmm, smell that? Smells like CO and unburned hydrocarbons.....

It probably would have some girly print. So a couch cover would need to in order. You should soak the couch cover in saw dust and pour some wood ashes over it.

Then wash it in a solvent tank.

Then the smell would be perfect.

if it smells like exhaust, then it makes it more manly.

tresspassing is not offroading....sorry to burst your bubble. But, on the other hand, it will give actual off roaders a bad name. Wait, that was the same hand.

Dude, what you really need to do if find a friend who follows tread lightly, and go with him on a trail. I gaurantee you that you will have more fun than doing donuts on flat land and calling it off roading and you will actually learn what this sport entails.

you know what this thread needs? more novels about what someone you don't know does with their time and truck.

give the guy a break. for pete's sake.

you know what you need?

to realize that stuff like this affects us ALL

there are people everywhere actively trying to make offroading illegal. this is perfect ammo for that cause

Tread Lightly is a sponsor of this site and it took a while for that to clear. If a rep or someone from Tread Lightly sees something like this or any other thing that isn't following the rules of Tread Lightly then the sponsorship disappears

neat.

neat.

I really don't see anything "neat" about losing a sponsorship that one of our good long time member has worked so hard to try to get the TL's seal of approval for this site...

it docent matter if you think it is fun or not it is against TL and it is not allowed here... do like james said and find a club in your area that follows TL and go with them on a trip and you will learn alot of stuff that will help out in the long run... unless you like to see the activists continue to shut down our beloved parks...

Which is cool, i like doin that too.. but if you're on property you aren't supposed to be on or doin something you might think isn't legal, you should refrain from posting it on here in the future.. these forums are owned by a company that owns tons of other forums and they're sponsored by various companies, such as Tread Lightly. Stuff like this is against their rules of what forums they'll sponsor and therefore they can drop the sponsorship of this site

silverbullet
11-23-2009, 08:31 PM
crush all you want. as long as its on legal property and you pick up after yourself even if you didn't drop the junk there. You made it more of a mess so clean up.

Heavus
11-23-2009, 08:35 PM
well... if you think about it, in a way i made the mess smaller :)
but i get it

silverbullet

Maybe in height but its alot wider and longer now thanks to you.

But most of all,

you sure did a good job of making the offroad community look irresponsible and wreckless.

use your head next time and don't post that on here.

Heavus
11-23-2009, 09:31 PM
then delete the post.. it wouldn't offend me.

silverbullet
11-23-2009, 09:32 PM
I got a better idea. Why don't YOU clean up YOUR mess and delete the pics yourself???

it'll be good practice

Heavus
11-23-2009, 09:35 PM
Because unlike YOU, it doesn't bother ME enough to DO it...
