json3904 02-06-2007, 03:30 PM well i installed my window visors yesterday. they are the inchannel ones, well the rear when i was trying to roll up the window, seams like its gonna hang up on the visor but i really wont know till day after tommorrow due to the wait time to rolll down your windows after install.
midnight runner 02-06-2007, 10:00 PM I had the same problem and had to trim them. But, really it still didnt help at all. I plan on taking them off and just getting the regular ones that fit on the outside. I love the front ones, but, the rear ones suck and annoy me.
json3904 02-06-2007, 10:08 PM well i read on a thread that after a while they will get broke in and will roll up just fine so im going to wait and see. also very rarly do the back windows go down ( cause i have hell trying to get them to go back up ) so i dont think that should be a problem........ but we will see
Kona Hawaii 02-06-2007, 10:51 PM Hello, Years ago the BEST vent visors were Stainless steel that fit inside the window channels. I have two in my Dodge ram.....easy to install...no problems with windows going up or down.
Very long lasting (forever)...does not crack, bend or discolor or go bad the the UV attack the plastic.
Hope someone will bring/manufactor those again..! .........Aloha
PS:Today everything is make of some kind of plastic materials......when ordering from McDonlds make sure it is real?
json3904 02-06-2007, 11:22 PM i dont know aluminum whauld not look right on the X since there is no chrome or aluminum on it. i really prefer the plastic since you can still see through it since it covers a samll amount of the mirror...........
Muzikman 02-07-2007, 11:35 AM I have the inchannels on my 05 and they work well. It took a bit of time for them to break in, but I have had them about a year or so and they work great.
json3904 02-07-2007, 08:59 PM thanks for the help i am planning on keeping them. i like the way they look!
