i just got my 2004, but the driving range is terrible, the little 19 gallon tank doesn't net much driving range.

is there a bigger replacement tank available? or has somebody figured a cool way to rig up an external gas can?

People have mounted Jerry Cans onto the various aftermarket rear bumpers, the roof rack, etc. There's also wide flat plastic versions that look more like table tops than Jerry Cans, that are able to be squeezed into tight places/small clearances.
