on the front of the roof rack

the white NISSAN lettering... the 2003 X i am looking at purchasing could really use a new one .. looks likle nothing but a decal ..

does anyone know if NISSAN sells them . or i have to go to a vinyle place and get it special made

some people have said to PAINT it .. but i have seen a couple really bad paint jobs .. so i would rather not try and paint a FULL letter N ...

i cant be the only one to ever have this problem ..

who cares man .. seriously ... does it really bother you that much ..

anyways .. yea most of the answers are " PAINT IT " which i think is a horrible idea ..

anyways . sorry if it really bothered you ... i can never understand why people care if someone posts on multiple boards .. that is what these boards are for .. for people to post ..

have a good day man

I'd either go to the dealer and see if they can get you a decal or just have someone cut it out of vinyl for you.

I'm not sure what other answers you're looking for ???

i'd check with a local graphic design shop if you can find one. they should be able to duplicate the font and cut you some vinyl graphics no prob. that's what my brother does for a living, and i've had him make all kinds of custom graphics for me. i have them on my motorcycle and on my x- never had any problem with them fading or peeling off

Yes... Nissan does sell the decals. Just heat up the old one with a heat gun and pull it off. Then stick the new one on.

Then you can either paint it/have it painted. Or try to find a used deflector that has all the lettering intact.

My suggestion would be to get a foam brush (or a small foam paint roller) and some white paint and do it up. With the foam brush or roller you won't even have to tape off the letters just paint the raised areas. Should be very easy, and I'm sure it will look great with the shiny new white lettering.

[Please notice in this response I have quoted json3904, and therefore my response is directed to him and/or anyone else with the raised plastic letters...]

Sanboy, your dealership won't order the decal for you?
