Hi everyone, I'm new here and I have a couple of questions about my '02 Xterra.

1) My Windshield chips very easily and I had a crack along the heat vent about an inch from the bottom edge and it ends on both sides of the vent. It happened on a very cold winter day where the temp was 6F outside and my car was garaged. I turned the Heat on the windshield. My buddy has a '00 model and he too complained about his windshield. Does anyone have similar experience with his/her Xterra windshield? Any good after market windshields out there?

2) I have about 47K on my Truck and I'm wondering what maintenance the Supercharger really needs (oil change, belts, etc?)

3) I also have noticed a bad smell coming from my A/C during summer. It smells like a dirty wet towel and I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue?

Although I cant say that I've experienced the same problems, (I have an 05 SE) Im sure there are people here that will be more than happy to offer some advice.

I think windshields are supposed to break easily, on purpose, I have heard there are good and better, I have an 04 sc model, haven't seen any special maint. as per the supercharger in manual, i'll check it out, I just turned over 30K and I'm going to get belts any day now, I sure don't want to be stranded, and they don't look that easy to change, If your model has cabin air filter on the a/c duct behind glove box, check it, if not you may have a clogged condensate drain or heater core leak......
Lookimg thru my maintenance schedule, I never saw the word supercharger mentioned; But they sure like "lubricate propeller shaft"(on 4wd models) but I see no grease zert or any other means to perform this task.............
