I need a volunteer to be a beta tester for the Blendmount Scangauge mirror mount. I only need one volunteer. You will receive a free Blendmount for the Scangauge. There are some things you will have to do in return though.
Requirements are as follows:
1) 2006 or 2007 Xterra only
2) Mirror linkage must be 7/8" ONLY (See end of post for testing details)
3) You must take installation photos and make a good writeup on the install with DETAILED/CLOSE-UP pix (as a post on the forum). Please do a good job on this, as it will help advertise the Blendmount as well as provide feedback for Mike at MGT Motorsports.
4) You will need to provide feedback to the owner of MGT Motorsports (Mike). He will be in contact with you to discuss ways to improve his product (the mount).
5) If you volunteer to be a beta tester, please take it seriously, and do a good job, as your feedback will be valuable for him to make the product better for everyone else.
6)Again, you must have a 2006 or 2007 Xterra, and you must already own a ScanGaugeII. You mirror linkage MUST be 7/8" ONLY.
FYI for everyone else: MGTMotorsports will run a a group buy for these in the coming weeks for a price of around $45. This is a great price considering they are $60 normally. Since this is a brand new product, Mike at MGT does not want to run the group buy through a 3rd party right now so he can be involved in the process to ensure his first batch of these that goes out runs smoothly. The Blendmount kit WILL INCLUDE a CAT5 extension and coupler, so you will not need anything else other than your ScanGauge.
If there is an overwhelming amount of volunteers, I'll draw a name from everyone who says they want to do it. I'll probably draw a name on Friday.
The Nickel Test

To determine the diameter of your rear view mirror linkage, simply hold a nickel up to the linkage and if the heights of the nickel and the linkage are about the same, that's TAILS and you have the 7/8" diameter linkage. If the linkage height is considerably less than the nickel's, that's HEADS and you have the 3/4" diameter linkage. Over 90% of our customers come up HEADS (3/4" diameter).
If you came up TAILS (the 7/8" diameter linkage), your BlendMount WILL BE AVAILABLE soon.
