Hi y'all. I'm picking up my new '07 yellow Off-Road on Wedneday. I've been wondering about the Nissan extended warranty coverage. $CAN 2000 will get me bumper-to-bumper to 84months/120000 km. Any comments on if I should go for it? Is this price also negotiable?
Thanks,

I got the ext. warranty on my X and on the previous car (00 Honda Accord). The Honda's paid for itself twice over (although I had to call & complain about the airbag sensors not being covered).
I haven't needed work on the X yet, but we'll see...

The Warranty Is Good, But At The Same Time Its Not, The Stealership I Deal With Tries Their Damndest To Toell Me Stuff Wont Be Covered, Hoping Ill Keep My Mouth Shut This Time... Fat Chance Service Rep:"sir I Dont Think This Will Be Covered" Me:"m.f. Your Boys Knocked The Fan Shroud Off Yesterday, Which Is Why My Steering Fluid Is In My Driveway, You Are Paying For The Tow As Well".
But Un The End Unless They See Mud Or Some Aftermarket Parts, They Will Cover It, Which Actually Dosent Leave Much For Me

I have taken the extended service on every new car I have ever had. The warranty has more than paid for it's self . I have had transmission covered & head gaskets covered. I would take it.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to take the extended warranty. I do all my own wrenching on my motorbike (KLR650) but I don't have the time or knowledge to tackle the Xterra.
