I have a 2000 SE 4X2 automatic, V6 with 85,000 miles on it. At 60,000 miles the original tires were replaced with a set of Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S. At about 61,500 miles it started pulling to the left; it will pull up and over the crown in the road. I have had it aligned 4 times and rechecked twice, since it started pulling, at a total of three different shops. The tires were rotated in a "X" pattern and then switched side to side. It didn't make any difference. The tires are wearing normally, evenly. The brakes are original and are wearing evenly. It's never been wrecked or run off road. It seems to sit level. There is no bearing noise. It doesn't matter whether it is pulling or coasting, in or out of gear. Tire pressure is correct. Maybe there is a power steering problem? ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

i had a similar problem when one of my ball joints was loose, but yours wouldnt be loose like that, mine are aftermarket, still sounds like the cause could be the ball joints, when you brake at speed does it change how the steering pulls? more or less, or in the other direction?

I was just at the tire dealer today.............
I have almost the same tires, Yokohama Geolander A/T.
I Just got them a week ago.
I got an alignment last wednesday, and went back again today.
I waited 2 1/2 hours. They claim my alignment is within specs,
but it is still pulling to the right. They checked all of my
front end parts that would affect the alignment and said they are all fine.
They said the only thing they could think of is that it is the tires.
I got the tires off EBAY @ discount tire direct, so there isn't much I can do about that.
I wish I would have seen this post before I bought those tires............:pfeilimkopf-big:
