: fog light installation 2006 Xterra S
zepp440 01-19-2007, 10:21 AM Anyone know where I can get an install guide or instructions to install the fog light kit from the below link?
http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=N50-FGLMP (http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=N50-FGLMP)
Alternatively, has anyone ever installed it for a 2006 and can tell me how difficult/easy it is?
Thanks!
Muzikman 01-19-2007, 10:31 AM The factory kit is easy to install.
Take a look at the kit on www.yournissanparts.com as they usually have cheaper prices.
For a how-to on the install, check out.

They are a site sponsor also. Not sure what the discount code is for this site but you could use clbttn for 10% discount on already low price.
White05 01-25-2007, 02:30 PM I agree, the install is simple if you have all the parts.

venompwr2 02-02-2007, 03:55 PM I installed a set of aftermarket foglights into the stock foglight opening, after some trimming, and then wired them up with the factory wiring and installed a new stalk switch. Took about an hour to do it all.
roktoy 08-23-2007, 05:14 PM Venom do you have any pics or a write up?
Jasontamu 11-13-2007, 12:10 PM do X models have the wiring for the fog lights there??? or is it just random on some models and not all?

nimnifnof 11-13-2007, 01:34 PM It's there. Cheaper for Nissan to include, but not use the harness versus making an entirely new harness without attached options.
sdotconley 11-28-2007, 02:56 PM hey i just finished installing them on my X and there is about 1/4 gap between the lights and the bumper and I hooked everything in nice and tight but it seems like its not secured as weell as I though with only one screw per light....I have an 07 but I noticed the side with the green clip if u push on it, that side can pop out...
sdotconley 11-28-2007, 02:59 PM hey guys i just finished installing my fog lights on my 07 x. I noticed its not as secure as I thought it would be with only one bolt and all and just the green clip. I noticed if u push on the front of the fog light u can pop out the side with the clip or worse yet u can move it up and down and change the angle without meaning to. I fastened everything perfectly believe me I checked everything twice. Is this just how thye are meant to be? also I have a gap on the bottom of the lights in the bumper I thought it would be flush with the holes for the fog lights
sdotconley 11-28-2007, 02:59 PM sorry about the double post, computer said there was error and first message did not go through....weird
sdotconley 11-29-2007, 05:44 AM Hey also is there a way to raise the level of the light it seems to me the light when on is kinda pointing down toward the street rather then straight on like the head lights.:clueless:
