I have a 2004 xterra , no mods just brand new baterry and kn&n air filter so far. Was driving the truck all day went home then had to leave again when i went to start it all it does it give a single click . I tried turning the key to accessories and then starting slower same thing. Just had the electrical system diagnostic done everything checks out . Checked all fuses there fine . Everything is bright and working fine as far as the fob , lights , cd player , door chimen ect. just when you go to start it all it does is give a single click ?

I read somewhere that someone had a 2006 xterra and it was the alarm system not recognizing the keys and to remove the negative connection to the baterry and try to start with the spare key , i checked with the dealer ship here to see if that was the case the truck would roll over .

Any help would be great .
