i just ordered a k and n cold air induction from yournissanparts.com. it should be here by the weekend, and hopefully the scanguage will arrive soon as well. if they both get here in time, it should make for a fun saturday afternoon of installs. i know quite a few people already have the cai installed, but i'll make sure to take some pictures of the install in case anyone would like to see. also, that cold front has finally hit here in nc, and i believe we might see a few snow/ice showers late tonight. i'm hoping it snows so i can go take the x out and play in it, but we'll see what happens.

according to Fed Ex, my K&N cai should be on my door step today. i was hoping for some snow with that same cold front. instead got some light flurries. now it's just colder than a witch's tit!
also ordered a reciever shackle bracket

the k and n filter just got here from fedex...i felt like a kid on xmas opening up the box to look at my new toys. i had the same system on my spec-v, but this thing is massive compared to the one i had on there. i am dying to put it in my x, but i have friends in town from germany who will be leaving tomorrow morning and i am on my way out to dinner with them....guess i'll have to wait till tomorrow....i will probably be up at the butt-crack of dawn just so i can install it. i'll take same pics and post after the install is complete

cai installed...and damn it is sweet. it sounds freakin awesome. it was a very easy install, the directions from k&n were very clear and took about an hour to get it all done. below are a few pics of before and after, and what the x looked like with the old intake out before i put the new one up. i won't bother doing a full write up on how to install it, since if you can read you would be able to do it, the directions were so easy. plus, burnout just put up a post for the injen system he installed, and it is practically identical to putting in the k&n system.
