For those of you that go trail riding with your xterra, I was just wondering how many of you go offroad with the 2wd or 4wd style?

I have the 2wd style and I have yet to take it on the trails.

i go with 4 wheel drive, where i live 6 mo are snow and it is used to just get around.u cant give a 2x4 away around here. not that there is anything wrong with them its just that there are so meny soccer moms driving chevy blazers around they never learned how to drive anything else. my wife used to live in west palm florida and it was just the opposite down there.

2wd all the way.
it would make sense that environment may require 4wd, i know someone who's mother said she drove a 4wd civic when she was in michigan, tho i never thought to look into it.

just remember; 2wd + mud + momentum = ok
2wd + mud - momentum = stuck!
