I just put these on my 05' Xterra this summer. They are the stock size, but I am wondering if anyone else is using these? So far, I am a little unsure how these will handle a Seattle winter and wet pavement. These are a multi-directional tire, which I don't know much about either. I live 10 miles down two steep hills, which I travel daily on my commute with a 1 year old in my car. Safety is paramount to me and I am wondering if I should have spent a little more money.
Can anyone out there ease my mind on how these will handle the wet pavement? I bought these from T.F. which sold these as extermly safe and way better than the stock BF Goodwrench Long Trail's which in my humble opinion were a decent wet weather tire.
Thanks!

From the looks of the tread sipped to the extreme I'd say you'll be great in winter ice and snow. I would come to expect that tire to be excellent in wet and/or icy weather.

If you don't mind me asking what did they cost?

Those will work great in slippery conditions. When it comes to snow, ice, wet, etc etc...Nokian is the boss. End of story. When I get new tires I will be getting Vatiiva MTs...with the winters around here....Nokian for the win...

I ran a set of those on my last pathfinder, they were excellent.
the extra siping (spelling??) makes for great performance in wet and snowy conditions.
The pathy was a pure winter truck and was put through its paces in the most extreme weather conditions and those tires got me through everything, deep snow and icy unplowed roads up the hills for first runs all winter long.
they are classified as an A/T all season but have the mountain snowflake for winter conditions, all while not really compromising summer tire wear like a dedicated winter tire would.
If these tires can survive Edmonton winter's and get myself +friends to our favorite snowboarding spots all winter long from Vancouver Island to whitefish Montana you and your family will be very safe. Not to mention the Mill turning these Nokians was a 95 3.0 v6 pathy, with no modern safety electronics etc and they were 235/75/15's.
Now that the summer weather is gone and I sold my 350z, I am very excited about winter- both: because of my love of snowboarding, and I can put this xterra to some good use on those mountain roads.
let it snow!!!!
