Hello, I live on the Big Island of Hawaii, we have the tallest mountain in the world ,measure from below sea level.
It snow on the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa mountains. Just 2 inches. People are not allow up there because of the Icely conditions.
Can't wait to take the Xterra up the mountain, (approx 18,365 feet). The air is thin. Most people can only stay up to 1/2 hour or less,(your start to get headaches)..a sign saying you better head down the mountain.
The last time we went up...you could only shovel snow a few times and than rest (try to fill up the 151 qt coolers). The snow had just fallen and was powder and soft.
