Hey guys, I am new to the Xterra scene as well as the general offroading scene in general. Currently I have a Subaru WRX. It was my first car and I became engulfed in the import turbo scene. I brought the car up from stock at 170whp to 315whp. My best time for it stock was a 14.3 @ 95 and now I ran a 11.9 @ 113. I love the car, but it has become to much of a pure race car and not enough of a daily driver for me, plus it has become a huge money pit(as i am sure you guys can relate with your SUVs) I am looking to get into a little offroading but nothing to serious. Hopefully I will be able to sell or trade the WRX soon and purchase a 2005, 06, or 07 SE or OR edition Xterra. I have alot of Q's and I am excited to start reading up and down the threads. Any questions that arent answered you can trust me that I will ask them. As I said I am new to the 4wd off road SUV. This forum I am sure will become a valuable resource. Cya around the board!!!

Cool another WRXer. Haha. I am deciding whether to get out of them or not. What is your opinion?

Well, I sold my 02 WRX so I could buy a house. My plan was to save up and get an STi, but eventually decided on the Xterra and I LOVE it. Another wrx may be somewhere in my future, as I do miss the Auto-X scene. But offroading is actually much more enjoyable to me.

Nice! Thats one reason I am thinking about leaving the WRX scene is that I really enjoy offroading, and also it is getting really expensive to maintain because i didnt get the bulletproof STI. haha
