Will the 2000-04 parts work?
That's all I see. I'm not trying to do anything crazy or lay frame.
Just enough to make some 20 or 22s look good. :)
no, 2000-04 suspension is entirely different from newer 2005+
however, i believe the same lowering blocks can be used on all xterras since they have the same leaf spring width...
to lower the front, you would need shorter or softer coil springs, as well as a camber kit

What about frontier stuff?

Maybe Creepy will chime in since he knows the lowering kits pretty well and can give you some pointers.

Sorry for the delay guys (I've been slammed all day, lol)
Like baf6 said they are completely different. The 1st gens are torsions and the 2nd gens are coils and struts. The rears can still be done with blocks though. There are a few ways to do the fronts. 1) just cut the springs and bumps down a little (not the best but it works, lol), 2) I think H&R makes a drop coil set, but don't quote me on that, (I know they do for the Navaras), 3) have some custom drop spindles made (this is the best, but most expensive option, about $450ish).
Is it 4WD? If so, I wouldn't go down much, because the drive lines will put unwanted pressure on the transfer case.
(I don't usually get into the small drops, usually if I'm involved, they end up laying frame on the freeway at 70mph and tossing 60 feet of sparks out the back, lol)

Nope 2wd. Just a small drop. I guess if I can find from used stock springs I can cut them and keep my stockers for backup. :)

How similar are the pathfinder and xterras? The pathfinder looks identical to me except for a little longer wheel base.

Let me know. :)

If I was going to spend that kind of money, I'd go for the drop spindles instead and keep all the geometry correct.

just bag it. Bags with the built in shocks should be a simple swap, may need lowering blocks as well on the back if you don't get enough travel.
