Hi everybody!
I am thinking and almost bought this hi-tech security alarm system for my '05 "Tera". Is this any good, for real? I am also thinking of installing it by myself. Granting I will be able to get a detailed installation diagram from an eBay seller. (Some stupid good-for-nothing a-hole, broke into my car through the passenger window.) I had installed tint on it but he still managed to glanced at my valuables or it's just his way of invading privacy.

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

I really want to have an aftermarket security alarm system for Tera. I heard it will lower my deductible as per my stinking insurance goes.

Thanks y'all!

The Clifford will be fine. I have a slightly older Clifford remote start/alarm setup. It's made by Directed Electronics Inc. - they make a ton of different brands of car alarms, and there really isn't much of any difference between any of them. Except price.

Clifford, Viper, Python, Avital, Hornet - they are all the same company, same stuff, and anyone who tries to tell you different is lying. There are slight differences of course, but overall same stuff, different packaging.

Thanks for the warm welcome steelehunter09, NissanWarranty & TN4x4xTerra!
I bet the sucker who vandalized my TeraBot will have his time.

Anyhoo, does it really take a more than average electronic skills to have this installed? Like I mentioned on my first write up, I would like to try to DIY it (can't afford to spend some more $$$ to have it installed.
I am pretty much knowledgeable on electronics (but, not cars) I believed you can mess up the electrical BIGTIME by simply shorting them wires.

Anybody in the house had installed an alarm system (basic or premium ones) by themselves? Please pour some brain juice on this topic/querry.

I appreciate your response, Odin.

Thanks again guys!
