Hey all.

Thought I would share this just in case anyone else has this happen...

I've been doing some renovation type work, and had some latex paint cans in my x... well aparently I didn't get all of the paint off of them before they went in my back floor board area, and I had my seat backs down with tools in the back also.

well today, I finally got to clean the truck out and when I raised the seat back I realized I had a streak about 5 inches long of bright white paint on my leather seat back... man was I ever pissed...

well I did some web searching, and someone suggested using a rag wet with hot water and some dish soap to get it off, I did that and it all came off, I had to scrub it mind you, but it came of completely and no damage to the seat! also was tipped that olive oil would do it, didn't try that.

That paint had been dried on there over a week too, I can't even remember when I had put that can of paint in there...

Here I thought you had a product that would allow me to "paint on" some new leather seats. Was wondering how liquified animal matter would dry evenly.

But anyways, latex paint is very easy to remove most of the time, it is water based. You run into more problems with oil based paints or acrylics.
