... Well, sort of.
My wife need a new car that didn't suck in the snow so we bought her a silver 2005 (SE) with 45,000 miles.

Within 2 weeks my truck, a '97 GMC developed a radiator leak to combine with previous troubles I'd been living with (cracked windshield, oxygen sensor failures, and wouldn't come out of park). When it stopped starting altogether on Labor Day weekend I made up my mind pretty quickly and bought one of my own. A silver 2006 (S) with 35,000 miles.

I didn't purposely set out to get another silver car, it just worked out that way. I'm sure my neighbors aren't sure what to think.

Anyway I'm here to read and to learn and generally bask in all things Xterra.

Hate to disappoint but not much in the way of mods planned for a while. It wasn't cheap buying 2 in such a short time. Also they're both certified and have extended warranties until they're each 72 months old or reach 100,000 miles. At some point I'll put a trailer hitch on mine to use a motorcycle carrier, Pro Comp AT 265/75 R 16 tires (Load range E, HD sidewalls practically bulletproof) and maybe a cat back, CAI combo. Nothing extreme. Wife's will stay the way it is. Can't do much (stealth) with those 17 inch wheels.
